Deal of the Day: SeatGuru
Posted on 10. Jun, 2006 by Jason Guthrie in Saving & Investing
Not every “deal” translates into cash savings. SeatGuru, for example, is a great website containing everything you ever wanted to know about the seats on most airlines including:
- Detailed seat map graphics
- In-depth seat specific comments denoting seats with limited recline, reduced legroom, mis-aligned windows
- Color-coding to help identify superior and substandard seats
- In-seat power port locations
- Galley, lavatory, Exit Row and closet locations
Instead of saving you cold hard cash, SeatGuru help you get the most bang for your buck by helping you avoid seats that would otherwise make your $400 trip a nightmare. In addition to information about airplane seating, SeatGuru also has plenty of information about in-flight amenities and airline information such as baggage limitations, check-in procedures, and infant information.

I love SeatGuru. I check it *every time* before I select my seats on flights.

I use LoveMySeat.com to check seats, they have great tool that locates the 5 best and worst seat locations for you, you can search on over 50,000 seats and they give a lot of information about your plane. And I found great travel deals on the site also.
