Deal of the Day: SeatGuru

Posted on 10. Jun, 2006 by in Saving & Investing

seatguru.jpgNot every “deal” translates into cash savings. SeatGuru, for example, is a great website containing everything you ever wanted to know about the seats on most airlines including:

  • Detailed seat map graphics
  • In-depth seat specific comments denoting seats with limited recline, reduced legroom, mis-aligned windows
  • Color-coding to help identify superior and substandard seats
  • In-seat power port locations
  • Galley, lavatory, Exit Row and closet locations

Instead of saving you cold hard cash, SeatGuru help you get the most bang for your buck by helping you avoid seats that would otherwise make your $400 trip a nightmare. In addition to information about airplane seating, SeatGuru also has plenty of information about in-flight amenities and airline information such as baggage limitations, check-in procedures, and infant information.
